    Hello! I'm Jacks, founder of Move and Melt, and I’m so excited to welcome you to this retreat. This retreat is time for you to make room for what we really need—both movement and rest. Picture waking up to the sound of the waves, flowing through yoga, laughing with like-minded women, and letting yourself fully unwind. With each practice, whether it's yoga, a cold dip in the sea, trying surfing for the first time, or a sunrise meditation... we’ll find balance between action and ease.     Cali believes food is medicine. In the meals and food she cooks, she uses high quality ingredients and ingredients with natural anti- inflammatory properties. Through eating locally, organically and seasonally, we can improve our health, and our planet too. Our menu is a symphony of flavors, carefully balanced with macronutrients to support your vibrant health. We take pride in sourcing ingredients responsibly, often growing our own produce to ensure the freshest and nutritious vibrant flavors on your plate.

    All meals at the retreat will be made in house by Chef Cali and will be completely plant based. Chef Cali's commitment is to provide you with nourishing, flavourful, and mindful meals.

    I’ve dreamt about hosting something as special as Move and Melt here for what seems like a long time - really since we started to create this amazing space in the midst of the pandemic!     • Flight- It is suggested to fly into London Heathrow or Gatwick. From London, you can either take a domestic flight to Newquay Airport or use a combination of trains to reach Penzance.
    • Transfers - From Penzance train station, you can use a taxi service to reach the Beach House. (We can help with setting up transfers.)
    • Travel insurance- I always recommend getting travelers insurance anytime you travel.
    • Private Yoga - Jacks will be offering a select few hours in the afternoons reserved for private yoga sessions/myofascial release therapy. The perfect opportunity to deep dive into your own practice and get into special areas that are specific to you.

    Yes! You can pay in 1, 2 or 3 instalments to help you budget. With final balances due 8 weeks before the retreat. If you are worried at all about affordability - please reach out to us at moveandmeltcompany@gmail.com - we completely understand that everyone in our community have different financial situations and want to be able to help wherever we can.

    All yoga equipment is available at our retreat location, as well as towels & bed linen. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat however. Bring a swimming costume, and a beach towel. We have a check list of what to bring that is included in the welcome packet. All meals provided are plant-based, and we are happy to accommodate any specific dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, nut-free, or other allergies. Please let us know in advance so we can tailor meals to your needs.

    This retreat is open to all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. The sessions are designed to accommodate everyone, with options to modify each practice to suit your personal level of comfort and experience.

    Gwynver Beach is located in Cornwall, England, and the closest major transportation hub is Newquay Airport. From there, you can rent a car or take local transport to the retreat location. If coming from Glasgow, flights to Newquay Airport or train options are available. For travelers from other parts of the UK, Europe, or further afield, connections through London or Bristol are convenient. You can also take the train from Heathrow Airport (LHR) to London Paddington Station. From Paddington, take a direct train to Penzance. Then you can get a car to the retreat house. Please know we can advise the best route to travel if you are needing assistant.

    Our cancellation policy and refund policy is firm to ensure fairness and commitment for all participants. Please be aware of the following refund policy for the retreat: The £500 deposit is non-refundable and secures your place at the retreat. If you choose to pay in full, the entire amount is also non-refundable. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. While we generally do not issue refunds, we are open to reviewing requests on a case-by-case basis for serious, unforeseen situations. Thank you for your understanding and support.
